Days on the Farm & Heritage Days
These popular living history field trips play host to over 1,000 elementary students each day and feature more than 20 historical demonstrations. With hands-on activities and captivating reenactors, students learn about 19th century life.
Some of the activities and reenactors presented at this event are: 19th Century Music, Campfire Cooking, Butter Churning, Cream Separating, Basket Making, Blacksmithing, Pottery, 19th Century Toys, 19th Century Fashion, Farm Animals, Quilting, Spinning, Weaving, Candle Making, Wash Pot, Story of Cotton, Doll-Making, Civil War Soldiers, Harriet Tubman, President Abraham Lincoln, and more.
